Rat brains flying planes

The “brain”, grown from 25,000 neural cells extracted from a single rat embryo, has been taught to fly an F-22 jet simulator by scientists at the University of Florida. LinkAnd after the millions they’ve spent all it can do is fly a plane in a vaguely straight line, which is something my left nut could do with a little practice…On a side note, the rat in the photo looks so much like Brain that I’m tempted to buy one.
