On Money and Freedom

I don’t like money. I like freedom. I like the freedom money can buy: holidays, someone else to do chores, not having to work if you don’t feel like it, not stressing out because you have debts to pay, and so on.

Often that freedom is destroyed by having to work ridiculous hours, just to make more money you don’t have time to spend on freedom, so instead you spend it on material things, things that just can’t replace the freedom you’re giving up by wasting your time.

So find the balance between work and freedom, by earning just enough to buy the freedom you want without sacrificing your time, which is irreplaceable.

Work for freedom, not for money.
