Slumdog Millionaire doesn’t have happy ending after all

The two child actors from the film Slumdog Millionaire got very little  money from the film-makers and were still living in the slums until the Indian government decided to give them free houses as a political move ahead of elections. So I guess the happy ending in Slumdog was just hollywood BS and the real world is still a cruel and heartless place, even when you win an Oscar.
