Stop Firefox 3+ switching desktops when you click a link
Firefox kept jumping to my current desktop when I clicked a link in Skype or Twitter instead of staying on the desktop I assigned to it, and I’ve finally found a fix:
- Type about:config in the address bar and hit enter.
- Search for browser.tabs.loadDivertedInBackground and set it to true.
