Salvaging electronics that have taken a swim
Found some neat tips on Digital Camera University that may help electronics that have been exposed to water.1) Remove batteries as quickly as possible after the dunking.2) Soak in clean water to remove salt, mud, etc. residue.3) Leave for 12-24 hours in a container of rice to draw out moisture.I’ll definitely try this if any of my out-of-guarantee electronic equipment ends up in the wash or sea.
